you could never jump over tall buildings or stop a runaway train or catch a bullet with your teeth,But for me you are the greatest hero of all time. Your super powers were the ones that really mattered. You were so patient and loving, even with so many kids and grand kids and even great grand kids, you had that special ability to make each one feel like they were your favorite. I will miss you until i see you again. You were and still are my hero...I love you pawpaw!

The greatest thing my papa left behind was love. His legacy is love. He instilled it in all of us (children and grandchildren). He was honest, generous, wise, funny, gentle, and hard-working to name just a few. He proved that the more people you love the more love you have to give. I love you papa and will see you again.

My PaPa was a good and honest man and had a great sense of humor. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. I loved my PaPa very much and miss him.

Daddy, it hasn't been that long since you left. I guess I am having a hard time, because for me it's as though your still here. I can't cry and it has bothered me, but I think it's because it hasn't become real for me yet. I keep looking for you, to walk out your back door to the shop as I drive by. I keep hoping to hear you ask "how are you sugar?", when I call. I find myself wanting to save cans for you. Like I said for me your still here and I can't seem to let go and if I cry and grieve then it makes it real and I guess I'm not ready for it to be real. I love you and I see you every day in everything. You still live in my heart and I'm holding on as long as possible, or at least until my heart is ready to handle such a loss.

He was very full of wisdom and wisecracks. He was very smart and thought he knew the answer to everything, no matter the topic :). He made us laugh all of the time, especially when he attempted to tell grandma what to do and when to talk. We will miss him so much. We love you PawPaw. Aaron and Caden..
