"PEGGY" HOBSON

Funeral services for Margaret Peggy Hobson, 88, of Silsbee will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Silsbee with interment at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery also in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hobson died July 12, 2004 at Pine Arbor Health Care in Silsbee.

She was a native of Blatherwyck, England and longtime resident of Silsbee. Peggy was a nurse and worked in the library at Robinson Kindergarten.

Survivors include sons, James Hobson and wife, Bettie of Silsbee and Robert Hobson of Lumberton; grandchildren, Jim Hobson and wife Dee Dee of Livingston and Kristi Knauth and husband Pat of Beaumont; five great grandchildren, Derek Hobson, Casey Hobson, Patrick Knauth, Kelsey Knauth and Caroline Knauth.

"It takes a village to raise a child" and Mrs. Hobson was definitely one of the villagers in my life. Our thoughts and prayers are with "Butch", Bob and their families.
