WALTER M. ETHEREDGE

Walter M. Etheredge, 67, of Evadale died at his residence on August 29, 2004.

He was a native of Silicaga, Alabama and a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-five years, Alice Etheredge.

Survivors include daughter, Cathy Cloud of Vidor; loving grandchildren, great grand-children and close companion, Ruby Hollyfield.

A memorial service will be held at the daughter’s home on Sept. 1, 2004 from 2:00 -4:00 p.m.

This was my uncle... My fathers brother.... We didn't know he died or even where he was.... Always wondered what happens to him.... The family had not heard from him since the mid 70's

Mr. Etheridge served as a security guard for our school in the evenings and was well regarded. He was friendly, helpful and always positive. He will be missed.
