Chrystal, Collin, & Travis:
We find ourselves in a place we never dreamed of being. Joe was next to the youngest and you just think they will live the longest. We are sorry for your loss and we are also saddened by our own loss. Joe's funeral was the kind that makes you wish you knew the person even better than you did. We have to remember the fun and happy times, that is definitely what Joe would have wanted. We must also remember that great smile. I told Cleve that Joe would laugh if he saw the write up in the Hardin County News because of the picture. We know that was
his "officer" face but it's just not Joe without the smile. We are here if you or the boys need us.We love you. Cleve & Cindy

Joe, You were a great friend, father, and husband. You always made us laugh by telling your jokes. We can see your humor through your precious boys. Chrystal, we will always be here for you and the boys and we live just around the corner. We wish we can take away your pain. We want you to know how much we love you and that you are a true friend to us. Joe would have been proud of the way he was honored.
We love you~

Joe, our dear friend...we will miss you. You were a a faith builder each and every time we saw you. You will be missed so much, but you will live on through your boys. Chrystal, You know you are our family. We love you and the boys so much. We know your heart is broken in the way that only a spouse can know, but please remember that in your deepest sorrow, your Father in Heaven is ever closer and giving you the steadiness you will need to stand on your feet. We will always be here for you and the boys.
We love you Sweetie,

Crystal, you know how much you and Joe have meant to us. We all love and miss him. He was a great brother and best friend. It was a beautiful service and I know that Joe would have been so proud of the way he was honored by the state and proud of your strength and dignity. We know he loved you and we love you too. We will always be here for you and the boys and will continue to pray for healing. Little by little the sun will begin to shine through. That is the way Joe would have wanted it. Family forever. Love Dan, Vicky and the kids

What can I say? Joe was one of the most sweetest and uplifting people I know, not mention a great father of 2 bright young boys. He had a heart of gold and he and Chrystal both always had smiles on there faces. He will be greatly missed. Chrystal remain strong. It will be a day by day and step by step peace that will always stay in your heart. All the memories that you have are what keeps you going. Remember " I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me". You know that I will always have a shoulder for you and I love you. Take of your boys they need you now more than ever. Continue to be the best mom that you always have been.
Love Your Cuz
Johnanna
