Dorothy Jean Drake Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2004 DOROTHY JEAN DRAKE Funeral services for Dorothy Jean Drake, 76, of Silsbee will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment at Tanton Cemetery also in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday. She died Wednesday, September 29, 2004 in Silsbee. Mrs. Drake was a lifetime Hardin County resident. She was a retired accountant at Kirby Lumber Company. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Edna Oliver; brother, James Oliver; sons, Wayne and Gary Drake. Survivors include husband, Clyde L. Drake; daughter and son-in-law, Billie and Louis Sanders of Silsbee; grandchildren, Gina Calahan of Houston, Mark Sanders of Silsbee, Kristi Pustka and husband Robert of Silsbee, Randell Drake and wife Brandy, Heath Drake of Fred, Traci Drake of Silsbee, Shy Gallaspy of Kountze, Chad Drake of Kountze and Nick Drake of Hemphill; six great granddaughters and one great grandson.

To Family and Friends, I am so saddened to learn about Dorothy's death. I worked with Dorothy in the office at Kirby Forest Industries, from 1963 until she retired. I knew her as a very special friend to all. Dorothy loved everyone, and everyone loved her. She was true to herself, her Lord and her family. I know that you will miss her terribly and my sympathy goes our to you. Mary
