John Wayne Maxwell Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1949 - 2004 JOHN WAYNE MAXWELL Funeral services for John Wayne Maxwell, 55, of Silsbee, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2004 at the funeral home. John passed away after a lengthy illness Sunday, October 3, 2004 in Charleston, SC. He was born September 8, 1949 in Beaumont and was a lifelong resident of Silsbee. He served in the US Army and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. John retired from Temple Inland in Evadale and is credited with much endeavor as a family genealogy researcher. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Alene Fesler and brother, Curtis Lynn Kasson of Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Joe J. and Audie Maxwell and his father, Frank Creel.

John was a good friend and we loved our geneology. Audie was very proud of him, she loved him dearly. We will always look toward his home when going to Beaumont as we always stopped to visit Audie and John.
