ESTHER ELAINE SMITH
Funeral services for Esther Elaine Smith, 75, of Saratoga will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2004 at West End Baptist Church in Saratoga with interment to follow at Votaw Cemetery in Votaw under the direction of R. S. Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at West End Baptist Church in Saratoga.
Mrs. Smith died Saturday October 9, 2004 at Liberty Health Care Center in Liberty.
A native of Votaw Mrs. Smith was a longtime resident of Saratoga. She was an avid sportsman enjoying many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and gardening. Other interest were working with the boy scouts and teaching Sunday school.
Survivors include husband E. W. Smith of Saratoga, sons James Smith and Dalton Smith both of Saratoga; daughters Marilyn Tidwell of Saratoga and LaJuanna Tidwell of Beaumont; brother, Cecil Spears of Jasper; sister, Edna R. Fields of Palacios; seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Baptist Orphanage or Crisis Pregnancy Center of Liberty, Texas.
