Funeral services for John Henry Williamson 71, of Silsbee will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Friendship Baptist Church in Buna with interment to follow at Morse Cemetery also in Buna. Visitation will be 5 – 8 p.m. Monday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
John Henry Williamson left his earthly body to go to his heavenly home October 9, 2004 at Christus St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Jasper, Texas he had lived in Silsbee the past forty years. Mr. Williamson was a retired plywood supervisor for Kirby Forestry Industries and was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include wife Jerry Williamson of Silsbee; son Jeffrey Kenneth Williamson of Silsbee; daughter Charla Williamson McCoy of Bridgeport, CT; brother David Williamson of Rockwall, Texas; granddaughters Shelby McCoy, Misty Williamson and Myra Clark.
Donations may be made in John Henry Williamson’s name to Friendship Baptist Church, P. O. Box 786, Buna, Texas 77612 or to The American Cancer Society.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all of the nurses and doctors that so lovingly cared for him during his illness.
