Sie Earl Knighten Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2004 SIE EARL KNIGHTEN Funeral services for Sie Earl Knighten, 76, of Fred will be 2 PM Monday, October 25, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow in Fred Community Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5 PM Sunday, October 24, 2004 at the funeral home. Mr. Knighten died Friday, October 22, 2004 at his son’s home in Spurger. He was a native of Silsbee and a lifelong resident of Fred. Mr. Knighten was founder and current minister of The Country Church of Jesus Christ in Fred. He also served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include wife, Annie Ruth Knighten of Fred; sons Gilmer Knighten of Woodville, Jason, Alex, Don and Clayton Knighten, all of Fred; daughter Sharon Daigle Griffith of Silsbee; sisters Maybell Lindgren of Fred, Maedeena Clay of Silsbee, Jodeena Rhea of Silsbee and Ouida Tonahill of San Antonio; thirteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
