I always wondered whatever happened to Granny Bess. She married my Grandfather in the 1960's when I was 5 or 6 years old. I have search the internet for her. I could not remember Jean and Paul's last name or where they lived. I think they lived close to Houston. My Grandfather died in 1988, and I had moved from Gainesville to San Antonio and I'm very sorry that I lost touch with her. She was the only grandmother I had left. Granny Bess took very good care of my Granddaddy and I don't think he would have lived as long as he did without her. Granny Bess and my Granddaddy lived in Paris at 1024 Graham St. with her daddy and her brother. That was where my Grandparents lived before my Grandmother died. I remember as a child that Granny Bess was a very good cook, she made a cherry bing jello salad with pears and she always put little cocktail onions in her peas. I have so many pictures and memories. Sincerely, Kathie McFatridge Moody

I always wondered whatever happened to Granny Bess. She married my Grandfather John McFatridge in the 1960's. After he died in August 1988, I lost contact with her. I could never remember Jean & Paul's last names, and I have search on the internet for her. I'm sorry to hear she has passed away. I was only about six when she married my Grandfather. She had a flair for cooking and made the best jello cherry bing salad with pear halves filled with mayo and cheese and she put little cocktail onions in her peas. I remember her dad and her brother who lived with her and my Grandfather in Paris. I have so many memories. Sincerely, Kathie McFatridge Moody
