Lee Jensen, 63, of Milton, Florida passed away October 24, 2004 at West Florida Hospital. She was a member of the Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church in East Milton. She was also a member of the senior center at the Methodist Church in Pace. She was a past member of the Texas Dietary Managers Association. She loved bingo and dominos. Ms. Jensen was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Orland “Hap” Merritt and Fred “Pop” Jensen.
She is survived by John and Toni Brewer of East Milton, FL, Bill and Sheri Merritt of Houston, TX, Harvey and Judy Merritt of Chattanooga, TN, Betty and Dutch Taylor of Hearne, TX; her brother, Bill and his wife, Adeline Perkins of Spurger, TX; special sisters, Johnnie Weldon, Karen Petitt and Dale; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, with Reverend Donald Leavins officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger, Texas at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2004.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, the Lung Association or the Texas Dietary Managers Association for Lee Jensen Memorial Scholarship Fund.
