Billy Joe Williams Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1937 - 2004 Funeral services for Billy Joe Williams, 67, of Silsbee will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2004 with interment in Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. Silsbee Masonic Lodge #927 will conduct graveside services. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Williams died November 4, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a native of Warren, AK and had lived in Lumberton for many years. Mr. Williams was a supervisor at the Silsbee Bee and a veteran of the Air Force and Navy. He was a member of the Silsbee and Lumberton Masonic Lodges. Survivors include three brothers, L. A. Williams of Hot Springs, AK, Johnny Williams of Lumberton and Jimmie Williams of Vidor; four sisters, Dale LaComb of New Roads, LA, Rose Black of Lumberton, Emily Franks of Lumberton and Connie Andrepont of Lumberton and several nieces and nephews.

I think this is the Billy Williams I grew up with, although our city of Fordyce, Ar. was not mentioned. He also had a nickname which was "connections". If anyone knows if this is the same person, please email me at rdbug57@aol.com. He was a close friend of mine and will be missed.

I am sorry I will not make it to Silsbee for the funeral. Billy Joe will be missed by all who knew him. I'll miss his name in the staff listing of the Silsbee Bee and regret that I won't sit with him in Lodge again in this life. My condolences to his family, friends and Masonic brethern.

I'm proud to have known Billy for over 27 years. His presence at the Silsbee Bee will be missed. My condolences to Billy's family.
