At the age of 83, on November 19, 2004 Clifton B. “Pete” Duhon went to be with the Lord.
Mr. Duhon served as the Buna Postmaster for 33 years
and was a U. S. Navy veteran .
A great supporter of the Buna School district, he served on the school board for twenty-five years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He leaves his wife Leone Duhon of Buna; daughters Ramona & husband Charles Satterwhite of Florida, Winona and husband David Davis of Buna, Aggie and husband Danny Whalen of Buna; son Clifton G. Duhon of Buna; sisters Pearl Fredrickson of Pasadena, Olga Boin of Lake Arthur; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday November 22, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
