Funeral services for George Eugene “Jap” Holcomb, 76, of Town Bluff will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Holcomb died November 24, 2004 at his residence in Town Bluff. He was a native of Voth, TX and a retired lineman for IBEW Local 390. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the US Army.
Survivors include four daughters, Debra Bonnin and husband, Boyd of Beaumont, Donna Brown and husband, Rodney of Orange, Bonnie LaFave and husband Tim, of Chino, CA, and Penny Quartemont and husband Shane, of Orange; two sons, Roger Holcomb and Marc Holcomb and wife, Rhonda of Town Bluff; sister Dorothy Clevenger of Goodrich; three brothers, Jerry Holcomb of Houston, S. M. Holcomb of Lumberton and James Holcomb of Livingston; twelve grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.
