Jessie D Behnken Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1921 - 2004 Funeral services for Jessie Dee Behnken, 83, of Kountze will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow in Daniel Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Behnken died December 5, 2004 at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare. She was a native of Oakhurst, TX and a longtime resident of the Kountze area. Survivors are three daughters, Wava Cherry, Barbara Overstreet and Lani Behnken, all of Kountze; three sons, Richard C. Behnken of Canton, Noel Behnken of Bevil Oaks and Joel Behnken of Porter; sister Dorothy Reynolds of Lufkin; brother Billy Blalock of Corrigan; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

To the family of Mrs. Behnken I send my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother and loved one. She is in Heaven with her Maker now and no longer in the pain of everyday life here on earth. She has been loved very much here by - you - her earthly family, but is loved so very much more now by her heavenly Father. May God be with you now as your Comforter and friend.
