Daniel B. Hanbury, 75, passed away in his home in Silsbee, TX on December 15, 2004 after a long illness. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Hanbury was a native of Portsmouth, VA and a longtime resident of Gilchrist and Silsbee. He owned Dan’s Seashell Shop in Gilchrist and was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors are wife, Eda Windham of Silsbee; brother & sister-in-law, Raymond & Charlene Hanbury of Suffolk, VA; children, Sue & Ken Armstrong of Lakewood, CA, John & Marianne Ramsey of Tularosa, NM, Gary Bohler of Jacksonville, FL, David & Melissa Bartholdi of Sour Lake, TX, Jolynn Holmes & fiance’ Shanon Wars of Groveton, TX, Lori & Robert Berry of Warren, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Hershel Mackey, Lindon Mackey, David Bartholdi, Keith Vinson, Shanon Wars and Michael Williams.
