Funeral services for Dovie “Mimi” Cravy Menard, 71, of Silsbee will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Woodcrest Methodist Church in Lumberton. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Menard died on December 20, 2004 in Lumberton. She was a native of Fred and had lived in the Southeast Texas area all of her life. Mrs. Menard was retired from Eckerd’s.
Survivors include son, Robert Vela Jr. and wife, Gay of Groves; daughter, Jaki Heinz and husband, Gary of Lumberton and grandchildren, David Heinz of Beaumont, Corey Heinz of Houston, Joshua Heinz of Houston, Jacob Heinz of Beaumont, April Vela of College Station and Brandon Vela of Groves.
Mimi was a friend to many, and adored by many more. She lived for the successes of her children and grandchildren.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Crystal and Hospice of Texas. They would also like to say thank you to Dr. Arfeen and his staff for years of loving care.
