BETTY JEAN BURNES
Funeral services for Betty Jean Burnes, 74 of Fred will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 1, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home Chapel in Silsbee with interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burnes died January 29, 2005 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Born in Honey Island, she was a longtime resident of Fred. Mrs. Burnes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband Jim Burnes, Sr. she is survived by daughter Zettie Burnes and son Frank Burnes both of Fred; sister Nadine Berwick of Starks, LA; brothers Harold Highsmith of Arlington and Bruce Highsmith of LA; grandchildren Brandon Harris, Zachary Burnes, Cheyenne Cooper and great grandchild Shyleigh Cooper.
