Funeral services for Louis Landry, 82, of Broaddus, formerly of Silsbee, will be 11:00 am Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment in Resthaven Cemetery, also in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Landry died February 5, 2005 at West Calcasieu Cameron hospital in Sulphur, LA.
A native of Breaux Bridge, LA, he was a longtime resident of Silsbee and had been living in Broaddus for about a year.
Mr. Landry was a retired Longshoreman and an Army Veteran of WWII.
Preceding him in death were his children, LeRoy Landry, Gerald Landry, Susan Landry and Margaret Landry.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Landry of Broaddus; daughters, Elizabeth Hammerly of Broaddus, Alma Landry, Betty Strawther, Kathy McNeely and Mary Landry, all of Silsbee; sons Joe Landry and Robert Landry, both of Silsbee, and Bill Landry of Lumberton.
