GENEVA MONDAY JOHNSON
Funeral services for Geneva Monday Johnson, 83, of Kountze will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 16, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery in Village Mills. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson died February 13, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Born in Gladstell, Texas she grew up in Bivens and later resided in Atlanta where she worked as a nurses aid until she married Olen V. Gee.
After her marriage she moved to Louisiana and was employed by an oil company. Mrs. Johnson loved to bowl and had been a member of a bowling league. An active church member she also enjoyed church activities, crocheting and loved family get togethers.
Survivors include sons George Wayne Gee and Randy Gee both of Henrietta, TX; brother Wilburn Monday and wife Marie of Kountze; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
