Funeral services for Nellie Ashworth, 96, of Silsbee will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2005, at the First Pentecostal Church in Silsbee. Interment will follow in Doyle Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday at Farmer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ashworth died February 16, 2005 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee.
She was a native of Starks, Louisiana and a longtime resident of Silsbee. Mrs. Ashworth was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Ashworth was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Willie Ashworth, son Leslie Ashworth and daughter Barbara Sue Ashworth.
Survivors include daughter Gayla McKee and husband, Steve, and granddaughter, Dawn McKee, all of Silsbee, nieces, nephews, family and many friends.
