Graveside services for Karen Jean Seattle, 49, of Pasadena, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2005 at Morse Cemetery in Buna.

Karen died at her home in Pasadena February 17, 2005. She was born in Beaumont, and was a lifelong resident of the Houston area. She was a retired medical clerk at the VA Hospital in Houston.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Erma Whitmire O’Leary and two brothers, Ricky O’Leary and Craig O’Leary.

Survivors include her husband, William “Billy” Seattle and son, Joseph William Seattle, both of Pasadena; father Joe O’Leary of Silsbee and brother Darrell Joseph O’Leary of Houston.

I always considered Karen to be one of my best friends. We went to high school together. I think of her often.
