Funeral services for Julia Elizabeth Hamilton, 79, of Silsbee, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will be 3:00 p.m. at Jonesville Cemetery in Huntington.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hamilton died February 21, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
She was a native of Harttown, Mississippi and had lived in Lumberton and Warren before moving to Silsbee. Mrs. Hamilton was a registered nurse.
Survivors include son, Glen Lee Hamilton of Huffman; daughters, Sally Kay Hollyfield of Silsbee and Avis Ann Rodgers of San Jose, California; brother Jack Jones of Shreveport, Louisiana; sister Jessie Haffenrichter of Oswego, Illinois; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
