Funeral services for Christene ‘Tincy’ Owens, 82, of Silsbee, will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Owens died March 17, 2005 at Silsbee Convalescent Center.
She was a native of Sour Lake and had lived in Silsbee for fifty years. Mrs. Owens was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Preceding Mrs. Owens in death is her husband, B. P. Owens and sister, Lucille Dubose.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherri Harper and husband, Allan of Kountze; brothers, Harold Morris of Merritt Island, FL, Lester Morris of Bridge City and Earl Morris of Jasper; two grandchildren, Christi Huff of College Station and Cody Harper of Silsbee and two great grandchildren, Madison and Mitchell Huff of College Station.
