Funeral services for Luther Holmes, 92, of Buna will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Holmes died March 22, 2005 at Buna Nursing Home.
He was a lifelong resident of Buna and was a retired lube oil blender for Sun Oil.
Survivors include his wife Mary Elizabeth Adair Holmes of Buna; two sons, Adair Holmes of Buna and John A. Holmes of Nederland; one sister, Stella Lawson of Buna; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
