Joseph "Cajun Shrimp Man" Potier Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1941 - 2005 Funeral services for Joseph “Cajun Shrimp Man” Potier, 64, of Silsbee will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 9 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005, at the funeral home. Mr. Potier died April 14, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. He was a native of Gweydan, LA and had lived in Silsbee 14 years. Mr. Potier was a retired machinist for Texas Metalworks. Survivors include his wife, Linda (Phillips) Potier of Silsbee; three sons, Brent Potier of Winnie, Trent Potier of Beaumont and Thad Reeves of Silsbee; sister Earline Phelps of Nederland and seven grandchildren.
