Francis, Marc, Pat and Andy, et al, please accept the condolences of Johnnie, Sharon and Johnny Greene on the lose of your mother. Nora was the mainstay and lighting rod of old Lumberton and our little berg will never be the same without her wit and wisdom. As we were going up we had so many wise and loving Christian woman to guide (and chastise) us, Mrs. Nora was always the mediating force - she knew the difference between wild and youthful and always reveled in that difference. Ms. Nora always acknowledged those that tried to overcome their upbringing and always tried to acknowledge the good and truly Christian actions of those around her (and my father Robert appreciated that more than anyone but Nora could ever know). Nora had the uncanny ability of knowing what was true and what wasn't - and seldom let it go unchallenged. Thank you Nora for your love and appreciation of my father - Robert Greene and your love of my mother Johnnie and your love and acceptance of me. Lumberton is all the more poorer for your loss. Yet Heaven is all the richer. All our love to all of you that took care of our Nora here on earth - I know she is in Heaven guiding our Father on who needs that little extra help. Heaven is so much richer today and Lumberton has lost a true mother and friend. Thak you so much Nora for your strength and love in our time of incredible loss - you truly helped Mom and me. There are fewer and fewer reasons to return to SE Texas and I am so sorry we were not there for you as you had always been there for us. Sharon, Johnnie and Johnny Greene
