Winston Ernest Robinson, Sr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1921 - 2005 Winston ‘Ernie’ Ernest Robinson, Sr., 83, of Lumberton, Tx. died May 3, 2005 at Lumberton Rehabilitation after a long illness. He was born June 8, 1921 to E. W. Robinson and Pearl Leggett Robinson in Chadbourn, North Carolina. Ernie served in the US Army Air Corp from 1940 to 1944. He retired from Local #125 Ironworkers, Beaumont, Tx. after 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his youngest son, Kenneth Wayne Robinson in 2001 and his great-granddaughter, Kayla Marie Robinson in 1992. Survivors include his devoted wife of 63 years Bonnie of Lumberton; one son, Winston E. Robinson Jr. of San Augustine Park; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of cousins, wonderful nieces and nephews and close friends and neighbors. Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee will handle his cremation.
