Eunice Inez Lakey Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1912 - 2005 EUNICE INEZ LAKEY Funeral services for Eunice Inez Lakey, 92, of Silsbee will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 10, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Monday at her residence, 135 Suncrest Drive, Lumberton, TX. Mrs. Lakey died May 7, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Brookeland she was a retired nurse from Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Mrs. Lakey was a charter member of Crestwood Baptist Church in Kountze. Survivors include son Robert Wayne Lakey and wife Jane of Silsbee; grandchildren Kerry Wayne Lakey of Houston, Lora Lakey of Mena, AR and Eugenia Brotherton of Norfolk, VA; great grandchildren Jessie, Josh and Joyce Brotherton.

Robert Wayne... I'm so sorry about your Mom. We all go back a long way, don't we. I can remember those years that we lived on Delaware and went to Magnolia church, as some of my happiest years. You had your Mom a long time, I hope I have mine as long!!! We are thinking of you. DeCondia

ROBERT, I DID NOT KNOW YOU,BUT I WAS HER SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER AT CRESTWOOD FOR SEVERAL YEARS, BUT SHE TAUGHT ME MOR THAN I TAUGHT HER. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL THAT KNEW HER. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS TIME. CHRISTIAN LOVE CYNTHIA
