Sonia Kaye Massey of Evadale, TX died Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. Kaye was born December 23, 1941 to Clayton and Mary Hilton in Johnson City, TN. She was a resident of Florida and the Beaumont area for most of her life.
Kaye is survived by her husband of thirty years, Billy E. Massey of Evadale; mother Mary L. Jelm of Milton, FL; sons, Troy Palmer of Vidor, Steven Palmer (Shan) of Cypress, Raylin Massey (Trish) of Lafayette, LA and Jared Massey (Stephanie) of Beaumont; daughters, Ilene Hebert (Nelson) of Kingwood and Tammy Palmer of Vidor; brothers Wayne Jelm (Amanda) of Shreveport, LA and Robert Jelm of Milton , FL; sisters, Jo Abeling (Abe) of Milton, FL and Teresa Hellums (Sharon) of Ridgeland, MS; sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is remembered by special friends, Carol Jackson of Vidor, Ron and Wanda White of Pace, FL, Eddie and Net Hoke of Evadale, J.D. and Jean Barnett of Evadale and Judy Williams of Beaumont.
Kaye was love by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by many.
