Elaine Hill Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1925 - 2005 ELAINE HILL Funeral services for Elaine Hill, 80 of Pflugerville, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2005 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee will interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery also in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hill died at her residence on June 28, 2005. She was born in San Augustine County and had lived in Pflugerville for the last six years. She was a longtime resident of Silsbee and was CEO of Eastex Employees Federal Credit Union until her retirement in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reid Hill. Survivors include one daughter, Selma Jean Hill of Pflugerville; two grandsons, James “Jimmy” Hill of Austin and David Lynn Jordan and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Hardin County Unit, P. O. Box 834, Kountze, TX 77625-0834.

Selma Jean Hill...I know you don't know me but i knew your mother for many years when the Credit Union was still on site at the mill...She was a kind soul who always greeted you with a smile and a good morning...To me she will always be remembered as Ms Hill..You have my deepest sympathy during this trying time...Trust in God...He will see you through...........

Selma Jean - My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you during this difficult time. No matter how old they are, we never get ready to give up our mothers. I had surgery last week so can't be there with you but you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you!
