Funeral services for Irene M. Deckard, 68, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Friday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow in R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday afternoon at the funeral home.
Mrs. Deckard died June 28, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Mrs. Deckard was a resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana and a resident of Silsbee for 41 years. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.
Her husband, William H. Deckard, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, William Paul Deckard of Silsbee and Fritz Deckard and wife, Denise, of Silsbee; three brothers, John Perry of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Charles Perry of Iowa, Louisiana and Jerry Perry of Moss Bluff, Louisiana and grandchildren, Fritz Deckard Jr. and Shandalynn Deckard, both of Silsbee, Blake Deckard, Kourtnie Deckard and Hailey Deckard, all of Fred.
