Funeral services for Barbara James “Bobba” Garrett, 91, of Silsbee will be 2 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Knupple Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Garrett died July 7, 2005 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Mrs. Garrett was a long time resident of Silsbee and also lived in Creede, Colorado for a number of years. She worked as a grocery clerk at Slavik’s Grocery and Ray’s Food Town where she made many friends throughout the years.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Terry Garrett Richard and Jerry Shelton Garrett II, both of Silsbee; great-grandson James Kevin Carter of Silsbee; brother F. W. “Ricky” James of Aubrey, Texas and a number of nieces and nephews, each of whom was her favorite.
Bobba’s family would like to thank the staff of Silsbee Convalescent Center for their loving care and attention for the last few months.
