Funeral services for Kathryn Louise Alford, 84, of Houston will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Alford died July 13, 2005 at Park Manor Nursing Home. She was a native of Leesville, Louisiana and a longtime resident of Silsbee before moving to Houston. Mrs. Alford was co-owner of Alford’s Furniture and Hardware and Alford’s Laundromat.
Surviving Mrs. Alford are children, Janice Matar and husband, George of Houston, Joan Sullivan and husband, George of Centennial, CO and Dr. Glen Alford and wife, Debra of Wilkesboro, NC and grandchildren, Dr. Chris Russell, Leila Moujaes, Michael Matar, Jason Alford and Laurie Holguin.
