I didn't know Billy as well as I knew his brothers and sisters. I knew all of them from school. And I know they will surely miss their brother, because they were such a close family like we were! I lost my mom and dad and two sisters. I know what they must feel right now. I offer my deepest sympathy for the entire family. Love you all, Abert........

I adored Bill and I am so sorry to hear of his death. I worked with Bill when he worked at Houston Lighting and Power, and I rented a home from him when my baby was small. He was a excellent landlord as well as being a perfect buddy. My prayers and thoughts are with his family at this time.

I was so sorry to hear of Billy Earl's death. I will always remember him as a friendly man who could make others laugh. I know that he probably could not remember me from Adam, but when I would see him at Homecoming, he would always act like he knew exactly who I was. You know, some of the "older kids" from school did not try to make the "younger kids" feel special. He did. He was fun to be around and I am sorry to hear of his death. I know that you will feel the emptiness that he has left.
