I have so many fond memories of Mr & Mrs Gattis. My children grew up thinking they were blood relatives. And rightly so, they were just like family. I will always remember the kindness and generosity Mr. Gattis showed to me and my family - especially my mother. He was happy when he was sharing his vegetables with others. He introduced me to the best corn I've ever had in my life. I believe he called it G-90. It was the best. He will definitely be missed.
