Wanda Sue Gore Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1945 - 2005 WANDA SUE GORE Wanda Sue Gore, born August 20, 1945 went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2005 after a courageous fight with ovarian cancer. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was also an inspiration to countless others through her teaching career and exemplary life. She was loved and will be missed. Survivors include husband Gilbert S. Gore of Silsbee; daughters, Starla Alexander and husband Wilt of Silsbee, Bridget Gore of Lumberton; Granddaughters Bree Anne and Katelyn Alexander both of Silsbee; brothers Billy Sharp of Silsbee and Joe Sharp of Beaumont and sister Charlotte Wood of Silsbee. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment to follow at Knupple Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Gilbert abd Girls: I was so sorry to hear of Wanda's passing. I did not know until after the funeral. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Gilbert, It is 10:45 AM Sat. the 10th when I read the paper about Wanda passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Rosie and I would have come to the funeral had we known. Normally mother keeps me informed about these things but she and Maxine are in Longview. Rosie and I both know what you are going thru and our prayers are with you and your children....God Bless.
