Funeral services for Jo Ann Laseter Miller Carter, 66, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Friday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Carter died October 17, 2005 at her residence in Silsbee.
Jo Ann was a native of Corsicana and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a cashier in the restaurant business.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her daughter Catherine Harrison. She is survived by son Michael Miller of El Paso; daughters Cindy Rogers and husband Dan of Bulverde, Jeannie Beasley and husband Barney of Silsbee, Debbie Alexander of Silsbee and Connie Leonard and husband Russell of Splendora; sister Hazel Comeaux of Nederland; brothers Ed Sloat of Jasper and Ted Sloat of Houston; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
