A graveside funeral service for Robert Walter “Bob” Herron, 89, of Silsbee will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Monday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Herron died November 27, 2005 at Pine Arbor Health Care in Silsbee.
A native of Tyrone, New Mexico, he was a longtime resident of this area. Mr. Herron was a retired conductor for Santa Fe and an Army veteran who proudly served his country during WW II.
Mr. Herron was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Herron. Survivors include daughters Patricia Herron of Huntington, NY and Kay Herron of Silsbee; granddaughter Katie Rowe of Silsbee; sisters Joyce Horn and Donna Horn, both of Kirbyville and numerous nieces and nephews.
