JOE CHARLES PERKINS
Funeral services for Joe Charles Perkins, 80, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Perkins died December 2, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Joe was a native of Beaumont and a long time resident of Silsbee. He was an operator for the highway department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wesley and Willie Fern Perkins, son Butch Perkins and step daughter Martha Glover. Survivors include his wife Evelyn (Reed) Perkins of Silsbee; son Joe Williams and wife Myrtle of Vidor; step son Charles Glover and wife Eva of Houston; step daughter Creathy Gray of Conroe; two brothers David Perkins of Vidor and Tom Perkins of California; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren,
