Funeral services for Dan Walter McNeely Sr., 67, of Jasper will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in McKinney Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. McNeely died December 18, 2005 at his home in Jasper.
A native of Kountze, Mr. McNeely had lived in Jasper for the last 20 years. Dan served his country in the US Air Force and was a retired construction worker.
Mr. McNeely was preceded in death by his wife Ruth. Survivors include his sons, Dan W. McNeely, Jr. and wife, Annie of Warren, Michael McNeely of Lufkin and Todd McNeely of Roganville; daughters Marie Chere Whitton of Roganville and Stacy McNeely of Kirbyville; brother James H. McNeely of Larue; sister Varl Ann Rodgers of Jacksonville; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
