Funeral services for David Wayne Dickerson, 48, of Spurger are 2:00 pm Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dickerson died January 3, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
David was a native of Kountze and was raised in Silsbee. He was a welder and inventor.
Preceded in death by his mother Claudine Dickerson, David is survived by his wife Patsy Ford Dickerson of Spurger; three sons Jeremy Hyden of Spurger, Rickey Hyden of Jasper and Cody Dickerson of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; two daughters Amanda K. Dickerson of Jasper and Marcie Ann Dickerson of the US Air Force; father Pascal Dickerson of Silsbee; three brothers Prentice Dickerson of Spurger, Robert Dickerson of Silsbee and Daniel Dickerson of Lumberton; sister-in-law Paula Gilcrease of Jasper; six grandchildren and brothers-in-law Rev. Tommy Ford of Spurger, Tony Joe Ford of Spurger and Rev. Kenneth Gilcrease of Jasper.
