Edna Mae Fillingim Haynes Funeral services for Edna Mae Fillingim Haynes, 91, of Kountze will be 10:00 am Saturday at Little Rock Assembly of God Church, 5870 Hwy. 326 North, Kountze under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow in Old Hardin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the church.

Mrs. Haynes died Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare in Silsbee.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Kountze and was a retired cafeteria manager for Kountze ISD.

Preceded in death by her husband Bennett E. Haynes, daughter Evelyn Warren and son LaRue Haynes, Mrs. Haynes is survived by two daughters, Linda Merryman and husband Paul of Clear Lake and Debra Childress and husband Gene of Silsbee; son William Bennett Warren of Kountze; brother George Fillingim of Livingston; four grandchildren, Kasi Wolcott of Houston, Lori Crawford of Baytown, Matthew Childress of Silsbee and Caley Owens of McAllen; five great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
