Dowell Edward 'Buster' Davis Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1926 - 2006 DOWELL EDWARD ‘BUSTER’ DAVIS Funeral services for Dowell Edward ‘Buster’ Davis, 79, of Beaumont are 2:00 pm Wednesday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment in Davis Cemetery in Beulah Springs. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Davis died at his home in Beaumont January 22, 2006. A native of Roganville, Mr. Davis had lived in this area for many years before moving to Beaumont in 1974. Buster was a retired dairy farmer and restaurant owner in Kirbyville. He also retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital after 20 years of service. Mr. Davis proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. Survivors include his wife, Lois Weeks Davis of Beaumont; stepchildren Etheleen Holmes and Richard Kirbow, both of Kirbyville as well as other loving stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
