I WISH TO EXPRESS MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE WAS A GREAT CO-WORKER AND GOOD PERSON TO BE AROUND. ALTHOUGH WE DID NOT WORK TOGETHER ON A DAILY BASIS, DURING BEGINNING OF MY CAREER WITH IRS AS REVENUE OFFICER, LARRY WAS AN INSTRUCTOR. HE WAS KIND CONSIDERATE AND A GREAT SINCE OF HUMOR. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO YOU ALL. HE WILL BE MISSED.

Dear Mrs. LeGrand: I was so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I have known him for nearly 20 years. I am a tax attorney and worked many cases with him in Beaumont. While it was clear that we were always on opposite sides, he was a pleasure to work with. His intelligence and humor made everything easier. I will remember him fondly, and hope that you and your family find peace in the knowledge that he touched many lives.
