Funeral services for Florence Annie Rao, 86, of Silsbee, are 1:00 pm Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rao died January 24, 2006 at Country Dreams Assisted Living Center in Sour Lake.
Florence was a native of Faul, LA and had lived in Beaumont 64 years before moving to Silsbee. She was owner of Joe’s Drive In in Beaumont for 50 years.
Mrs. Rao was preceded in death by her husband Joe Rao, son Robert L. Rao, three grandsons and two great grandchildren..
Survivors include her daughter Daisy Ann Prince of Silsbee; sons Glen A. Rao Sr. and Joseph A. Rao, both of Beaumont; brothers Charles R. Parker of Sulphur, LA and J. C. Parker of Orange; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
