Gary LaWayne Daniel, 53, of Nederland passed away April 24, 2006 at his home surrounded by his loved ones after a two year battle with cancer.
He was proud of and is survived by his mother Geraldine Yawn Daniel of Nederland; daughter Christa Daniel Holland of Houston; son Andrew Paul Daniel of Orlando, FL; grandchildren Alec Daniel, Evan Holland, Ella Holland and Aden Holland; brothers Dirk Alan Daniel of Houston and Paul Steven Daniel and wife Renee’ of Owasso, OK.
Gary will be remembered for his fun loving, outgoing spirit, his great sense of humor and sweet
smile. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to country & western music, dancing and watching sports. He also loved to play baseball, hunting, fishing, boating and barbecuing.
He worked in the car business and also did contract work.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Barclay, Carl Bolin, David Concienne, Scott Daniel, Roger Harvill and Danny Maxwell. Shannon Daniel, currently serving in Kuwait in the US Navy, will be an honorary pallbearer.
