Funeral services for Gwendolyn Ann Musgrove, 80, of Gilchrist will be 2:00 pm Friday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Votaw Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Musgrove passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006 at The Arboretum Nursing Home in Winnie.
Gwendolyn was a very loving and caring person and was known for her kindness and gentle spirit.
A native of Fouke, Arkansas, Gwendolyn’s birth on October 4, 1926 was attended by her grandfather, Dr. W. J. S. Smith.
Mrs. Musgrove was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Ivison Musgrove; parents Thomas Byron and Othello Smith and a sister Mildred Elizabeth Bivens. She is survived by a son James Sidney Musgrove of Bolivar; daughters Evalina Denise Stephenson of Livingston, Dannye Lightfoot of Andrews, Gwendolyn Sparks of Fannett, Sharon Kay McMillan of Kountze and Rebecca Overstreet of Beaumont; sisters Sydney McClintock and husband Robert of Paris, IL and Bobbye Soper and husband Harley of Beaumont; brother-in-law Nelson Bivens, Jr. of Fountaintown, IN; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
