
Dimples Jeffcoat Delaney, 87, of Beaumont passed away peacefully and went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Pine Forest Nursing Home.
Born October 24, 1918 in Bessmay, she moved to Beaumont in 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny F. Delaney, Sr. and her daughter, Kathy Delaney Young.
Dimples is survived by her daughter Barbara Delaney Mozley and her son Benny F. Delaney, Jr., both of Beaumont; grandsons, Gary Young and wife Naomi of Austin, Jared Mozley and wife Melody of Lumberton, Casey Mozley and Chris Delaney of Beaumont; granddaughter Morgan Delaney of Beaumont and great granddaughters, Brianna Werts of Beaumont and Gabriella Mozley of Lumberton. Also surviving her are sisters, Lillie Krumnow of Marshall and Rannie Barraque of Houston and her brothers, Jack Jeffcoat and wife Jean of Warren and Sam Jeffcoat and wife Alice of Fred and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Mrs. Delaney was a faithful member of North End Baptist Church for 49 years. She was an operator for SWB for several years and for many years ran a daycare in her home and touched the lives of many children and their families.
Dimples will be sorely missed by all at Pine Forest, her many friends and most of all, her family.
Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews and great nephews, Tommy Jeffcoat of Nome, Leon Jeffcoat of Fannett, Joel Jeffcoat of Fred, Lane Seaman of Dallas, Billy Caraway of Silsbee, Derek Perkins and Denny Perkins, both of Houston and Donald Jeffcoat of Nederland.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred.
