Annie Naomi Sanford Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1920 - 2006 Funeral services for Annie Naomi Sanford, 86, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sanford died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Silsbee Convalescent Center in Silsbee. Born in Midland, Naomi was a life long resident of Silsbee She retired from Alford’s Laundry as manager. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Sanford, sons Robert and Burnie Sanford and daughter Annie Ruth McGallion Knighten. Survivors include her sons Don M. Sanford of Beaumont and Kent F. Sanford of Kountze; daughter Laverne Etue of Evadale; brother Rev. Tom Knighten of Silsbee and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. Sanford. Although Paul and I moved about 8 yrs ago from across the street, I have quite often thought of her. She was a hardworking and compassionate woman who loved her family very much. I also remember she made the most awesome pies I have ever tasted!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. God bless you, Paul and Gina Landry and sons (Sam and Tera Parker's grandson and family)
